CODE OF CONDUCT Tobacco Products, Alcohol, Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia: The use and/or possession of tobacco products, alcohol, drugs or drug paraphernalia while participating in the Herdina Construction Trades Camp is illegal and forbidden. Suspected use or possession of any of the above products will be reported immediately and relayed to the parents. Confirmed use or possession of any of the above products will result in the student's dismissal from the Camp. Attendance is mandatory. Instructors will be taking attendance each day. Students that miss more than two days of the Camp will not receive their three college credits. If an absence is necessary due to illness, family functions, emergency situations, lack of transportation or another situation that is deemed appropriate by the instructors, it is advisable to contact your instructors or the HBA of F-M prior to the event if possible. Students need to arrive on time and be ready for the day before class time starts. Disciplinary Guidelines: The following will be used as a basic guide for handling specific problems that may occur during the Camp. Each instructor may put additional rules in place but will follow these basic guidelines. Additional rules will be communicated to the student. Instructors will enforce such rules consistently and fairly with all students.
Not listening to instructors, being disruptive during the Camp, arriving late for class, not wearing appropriate clothing, badmouthing, participating in harmful teasing or bullying, and using abusive or foul language or obscene gestures will result in disciplinary action.
